Option-O Coffee
Lagom Mini Electric Grinder
A compact single-dose electric grinder with a 48 mm stainless steel conical burr. Prima lists the materials as 6061-T6 aluminum and stainless steel, and it ships with an aluminum catch cup.
Good to know: Prima's materials line reads aluminum and stainless steel only, and the box contents list an aluminum grounds catch cup. Prima does not state what the catch cup's lid or the 30 g hopper lid is made of. Option-O now sells a Lagom Mini 2 with Mizen burrs; Prima's page still shows the first Mini.

Why we picked it
Option-O made the Lagom Mini for people who weigh out one dose at a time. Prima lists its materials as 6061-T6 aluminum and stainless steel, with a 48 mm stainless conical burr of the Moonshine type. The grounds fall into an aluminum catch cup that sits on a magnetic base. Prima doesn't say what the small lids on the hopper and the cup are made of. The hopper takes 30 g, so it isn't built for grinding a big batch, and Prima puts retention under 0.1 g. At $485 it suits a home espresso or pour-over setup where metal touches the beans from start to finish.
