Why we picked it
A loofah is the dried inside of a gourd, and it turns out the plant did the engineering already. Dry, it's stiff enough to lift stuck food, and a minute in water softens it enough for enamel and glass. When it starts looking tired after a month or two, compost it and clip a fresh one to the tap.
What it’s made of
Natural loofah (cucurbit gourd). Chosen for what it’s made of, not what it’s wrapped in.
- Plant fibre
- Loofah, jute, hemp & sisal that compost cleanly.
