Why we picked it
A loofah is a dried gourd doing the job of the mesh pouf, which is plastic netting that sheds as it scrubs and lives in the warm damp where bacteria are happiest. It softens in the shower and exfoliates as hard or as gently as you press. Hang it to dry between uses. A few months on, it composts, and a new one costs less than a coffee.
What it’s made of
Natural loofah gourd. Chosen for what it’s made of, not what it’s wrapped in.
- Plant fibre
- Loofah, jute, hemp & sisal that compost cleanly.
